“ Good place to eat. Halal meat, as well as confirmed by the restaurant. Tried mixed grill, pasta, and lamb leg. Good flavours and meat were very tender. Parking is available at the back of the restaurant free of cost. Very close to University of Hull. Recommended place to eat out in Hull ”
“ Came to Meze on a whim as we were staying close by and it looked good. Absolutely brilliant decision as we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great social distancing throughout the restaurant as well which is obviously massively important at this time. As a couple we have eaten various Mediterranean cuisines over the years but only really had the kebab side of Turkish cooking. Really glad that we decided to try it. After arriving and ordering a drink (Turkish beers of course) we were treated to a free lahmacun by the owner, great hospitality!! Then I ordered Turkish Sausage and my wife Lamb's liver for starters, both were really lovely and flavoursome. For mains I ordered Tavuk & Kuzu Shish (yeah kebab, I know, but totally different to the Friday night variety) and my wife Ispanakli Tavuk. Both dishes again were really delicious. If you're in the area I really recommend giving this restaurant a try. ”

“ I would honestly have to say that this restaurant is by far easily the best in Hull! Every time we come here we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome! The service from all the staff is truly amazing, they genuinely cannot do enough for you! The food here is WOW!! Everything from the cold starters to the mains are fantastic! I mainly get the kebabs, they are always cooked to perfection, I’ve never had an under or over cooked kebab here!! The bead and dips that’s they serve are so fresh, and always have that “just made” taste! To be truthful there really isn’t anything I wouldn’t recommend having! I really can’t wait to go back! ”
“ We were away in Hull for the week and fancied something different and what a find this was! Beautiful food, quick service and the waiter was very polite and attentive. My husband had the lamb shank and said it was so nice he felt like it entered his blood stream! I had the Lamb meatballs which were tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back if we are in Hull again and gutted we only found this on the last night, otherwise we would have eaten here every night! ”
“ Had the 2 person platter delivered today, my word, so good! Everything was just like the restaurant standard, the sesame bread was divine! Hummus is rich and creamy, filo feta parcels are so moreish, tabule and salad absolutely pop, the falafel is moist, etc etc. the whole thing is just a sensational flavour-fest! Food arrived hot, filo pastry was still crispy, kalamari wasn't rubbery (honestly, for a delivery that's impressive), the sausage slices were amazing too, omg then you got the grill and rice; lamb, chicken, a kofte type thang, I'm missing things off too, just buy it! Value 10/10 ”
